I was born in Rosario and grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the youngest of three brothers. When I was thirteen, my older brother Juan started taking guitar lessons, and my middle brother Fabio started taking drum lessons. They had a friend that played bass and when they came up with the idea of putting a band together, they decided that I would be the keyboard player. A few weeks later, the band dissolved, and the instruments were sold…all except the keyboard.
I studied piano, music theory, composition, improvisation and arranging all through my teenage years. When I finished High School, I knew that I wanted to be a professional musician, so I embarked on what would become an extensive career & adventure, taking me all over the globe, performing with hundreds of artists in front of thousands of people.
As a pianist and musical director, I recently finished 10-year long stint leading orchestras on Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean.
As an arranger, composer and producer, I had the privilege of having some of my music published, performed and recorded by international musicians and vocalists.
As a teacher, I have taught since 1998 in studios in Buenos Aires, and now I teach piano, music theory and improvisation.
I currently enjoy performing for retirement homes and assisted living communities, and for private events in the tri-county area. On Sundays, I’m privileged to be the Director of Music, Organist and Pianist at Aldersgate UMC in North Charleston.
I’ve happily settled in beautiful Summerville with my wife Sara, and I’m very excited to offer Red Beard Piano Studio to the community!
